The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) of Wild Fauna and Flora lists these overfished species, which are disappearing from our lagoons.
Therefore, our local reproduction efforts aim to multiply and preserve them for long-term sustainability.
We recognize the invaluable role of local Tahitian fishermen as guardians of our sea cucumbers, preserving and nurturing them in our lagoons.
